Ile Sainte Marie






Ile Sainte Marie is 50 km long and 7 km wide at its broadest point. The island is located about 5 miles (8 km) off the coast of eastern Madagascar [at its closest point]. The island is known for its palm-lined beaches and protected reefs. Sainte Marie is popular with European tourists.
