Forest cover according to national classification
The table(s) below shows the latest available and relevant forest cover (or land cover/land use) classification for the country used to generate the FAO country estimates on previous pages . These data form the basis for reclassification into FAO classes and reporting at the global level. Data are presented for each reference used to develop the latest country-wide estimate. The numbers are reported as they appear in the documents. This means that the total area may differ slightly from the final FAO figures, since these are adjusted to the official land areas as maintained by FAO.
