RANGE and DISTRIBUTION: In the disappearing dry forest of Daraina in northern Madagascar (30 km northeast of Vohimarina)

SIZE: 2.9 to 3.7 kg

IUCN Status: Critically Endangered

LOCAL NAMES: Ankomba malandy, Simpona
